From summer 2026, Orion Ticket Neige and its partners are offering a new insurance policy that allows you to ski with peace of mind anywhere in the world. It is a ‘Multisports’ insurance policy that covers skiing and all non-competitive snow sports. It’s called MySportCover’

MySportCover’ is available on assuranceski.com because it covers skiing, as well as a wide range of other sports. Better still, ‘MySportCover’ is a so-called ‘all-inclusive’ insurance policy, which means that all activities not explicitly listed in the exclusions are covered. It covers the occasional or regular activities of the vast majority of amateur sports and leisure enthusiasts.
-> ‘MySportCover’ excludes very high-risk sports (mountaineering, caving, etc.), aerial sports, motorised sports and competitive sports. The list of excluded sports is limited; however, please check before taking out a policy to ensure you are not affected by these exclusions. In any case, it does cover skiing.
MySportCover’ is a specialist insurance policy designed to support anyone living in mainland Europe who wishes to take part in sports and leisure activities abroad, particularly skiing. Indeed, whether on a holiday in a faraway country (Japan, the United States, New Zealand, etc.) or on day trips to a neighbouring country (Bulgaria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, etc.), the costs arising from accidents are always a cause for concern.
-> MySportCover’ is a very attractive option for mitigating the impact of accidents that might occur abroad, particularly as it covers medical expenses up to €150,000, which is a very high level of medical cover. It also covers the repatriation of the injured person, and of insured members of their family or group if necessary.

You can take out MySportCover’ for your skiing trips, as well as for your other regular activities – whether indoors or outdoors – in your country of residence. Medical cover will be lower than when abroad, as you are generally covered locally for your costs by your country’s healthcare system, but the other cover options included in the policy will be very useful in the event of an accident.
-> Medical transport, reimbursement of season tickets/passes/sports services, compensation for equipment damaged in an accident... Review the five categories of cover to ensure they suit your needs, and also bear in mind that with a single annual policy, you’re covered all year round at home and during all your holidays anywhere in the world (excluding high-risk areas such as war zones, of course).
-> For France, and specifically for skiing and snow sports, we do, however, recommend Assur'Glisse products, which provide you with advance payment of costs without the need for prior discussion with the insurer.
