Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and other activities in mountain resorts: choose the insurance solution tailored to your practice, the duration of your activity, and your ski lift pass or activity pass.
On Assuranceski.com (ski-insurance.fr), insurance solutions are brought to you by Orion Ticket Neige, a French cooperative enterprise, and selected with its network of mountain professionals. Our policies are underwritten by Mutuaide, and the broker WTW Montagne serves as the primary point of contact for insured clients regarding advice and claims management.
In France, ski slope rescue services must be paid for, and the costs resulting from a skiing accident are numerous and high. Contrary to popular belief, the state social security system and supplementary health insurance plans do not cover all these costs—not even medical expenses—and specialized insurance policies offered by mountain resorts (such as Assur’Glisse, Carré Neige, or SnowRisk) often provide the best coverage for injured individuals. These policies are optional; therefore, if you already hold a high-end comprehensive private insurance policy, check your existing coverage—you may not need to purchase specialized insurance.
Assur'Glisse is the primary option to consider for a ski outing or trip in France.
Designed for skiers of all levels—from beginners to advanced—it covers rescue costs and initial medical transport (ambulance, helicopter) without requiring any upfront payment for these services. It also includes various other benefits to help cushion the financial impact of an accident.
This applies to you if:
Assur'Glisse Saison Premium is designed for skiers who hit the slopes multiple times during the winter season.
It is particularly well-suited if you hold a season pass and ski regularly at your home resort, as well as at other resorts for occasional trips.
Coverage applies in France and in border areas accessible with a pass purchased in France.
Please note: when purchasing the insurance, you must specify—in step 1—the resort for which you hold a season pass.

In certain situations, it is better to choose the Assur'Glisse Plus option rather than the standard plan. Assur'Glisse Plus offers the same benefits as Assur'Glisse but adds civil liability coverage.
This is particularly relevant if your skiing takes you to Italy, where civil liability coverage is mandatory. It is also recommended for non-residents of France, who may not have civil liability insurance that extends to sports and leisure activities.

Please note: the availability of Assur'Glisse or Assur'Glisse Plus depends on the resort you choose. Not all resorts offer the "Plus" option.
Assur’Glisse Fond Assur’Glisse Fond is a solution to provide coverage for your occasional cross-country skiing outings—whether you prefer the classic (diagonal stride) or skating technique—at a resort requiring a paid pass (Nordic trail fee).
Assur'Glisse Saison Premium Fond is dedicated to regular cross-country skiing throughout the winter.
