Specialist ski insurance guarantees for Alpine Elements fans

Welcome to visitors coming from alpineelements.co.uk. Our credo at assuranceski.com (ski-insurance.fr) is ‘specialist’ ski insurance; in other words, no unpleasant surprise, and comprehensive cover specifically adapted to winter sports and leisures on the French ski slopes. We do insist; don't go skiing without specialist ski insurance! (just to be relaxed about the financial risks associated with ski accidents).

Alpine Elements have probably already told you this, but we explain it again

1) Check the rescue costs in your chosen ski resort

The costs of a ski accident in France are high; check at the ski lift ticket office, at the Town Hall, or on their websites; they should be displayed (on-piste rescue costs, ambulance costs...). All too often, standard insurance policies (particularly bank cards insurances) have limits that are too low to cover these costs adequately, and above all they ask you to pay the costs upfront, and then to await the reimbursement (coming sometimes a few months later).

2) Check the cover you may already have, and in case you need more, think about Assur'Glisse

Assur'Glisse cover has been designed by a cooperative company of 120 French ski resorts. It specializes in mountain sports, and means you don't have to pay in advance for rescue and 1st medical transport costs (which are the most expensive costs in the event of an accident). They also offer extensive cover, reimbursing you for example for ski passes and lessons not used after an accident. You can find details of the cover we offer on our website assuranceski.com under the section ‘our insurance solutions’.

3) Subscribe online at assuranceski.com with the Alpine Elements promo code

As soon as your payment has been validated, a purchase confirmation page will appear: here you can download your pdf insurance certificate (+ Google Wallet and Apple Wallet formats) and your invoice. These documents will also be sent to you by email. Keep an eye on your spam folder, as our messages may sometimes be classified as junk mail.

Reminder: this website is particularly suitable for skiers who have already bought their day or holiday pass but have not yet taken out ski insurance to go with it.
Please note that all Assur'Glisse insurance taken out on this site must correspond to a ski pass valid for the same place, date and person as the insurance.
We wish you a wonderful skiing experience in France, and please, be careful on the slopes; ski insurance preserves your wallet in case of an accident, but skiers manage their security to avoid the accident.
